DarkMySite may operate several websites in the future including "DarkMySite.com". It is DarkMySite’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
Like most website operators, DarkMySite collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. DarkMySite’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how DarkMySite’s visitors use its website.
DarkMySite also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Other identifying information such as Name, Email Address, Phone Number are collected from Customers to manage their product licenses.
Certain visitors to DarkMySite’s websites choose to interact with DarkMySite in ways that require DarkMySite to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that DarkMySite gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, those who wish to receive DarkMySite's updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, DarkMySite collects such information only as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with DarkMySite. DarkMySite does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described.
DarkMySite may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, DarkMySite may monitor the most popular pages on the DarkMySite.com site. DarkMySite may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, DarkMySite does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described.
DarkMySite collects certain information through usage tracking. The purpose of usage tracking helps DarkMySite to better understand our users and their website needs by looking at a range of variables in their DarkMySite plugin, WordPress, and web host. This information allows us to continuously improve our product as well as our Q&A / testing process. The information may include the license key (and type), plugin activation dates, form and entry statistics to help us make sure our features and updates get tested in situations that closely match our customers' site environments and DarkMySite usage.
Our usage tracking includes collecting information as to the WordPress active theme/plugins, locale, timezone, whether SSL enabled, or if a site is a multisite, and the site URL. In addition, the usage tracking includes determining the PHP and MySQL Versions in order to help us make sure our testing procedures have proper coverage to avoid compatibility issues, and determining the server software, which is used for testing purposes.
